Baku. Elnur Mammadli - APA. The book "Azerbaijan's flag on the bank of the East River" prepared by the Center for Studying Heydar Aliyev's Heritage has been presented, APA reports. Head of the creative group Fuad Babayev said the book is devoted the 15th anniversary of Heydar Aliyev's first speech at the UN General Assembly. The full text of the book is available in Azerbaijani and English, short content is available in Chinese, French, Spanish, Russian and Arabic. The book includes 64 documents, over 50 photo-documents, Heydar Aliyev's speeches at the 49th and 50th sessions of the UN General Assembly, President Ilham Aliyev speeches at the 58th and 59th sessions, four resolutions on Nagorno Karabakh adopted by the UN Security Council.

Spokesman for Foreign Ministry Elkhan Polukhov said the speech made by Heydar Aliyev 15 years ago and present policy show that Azerbaijan's foreign policy remains unchanged.
"Azerbaijani Foreign Minister's speech at the 64th session of the UN General Assembly coincides with the speech made 15 years ago. 15 years ago Heydar Aliyev offered to increase the role of the UN and this issue remains urgent today," he said.

Representative of the UN office in Baku Fargan Abbaszadeh noted that the book is of great importance. He gave information about Azerbaijan-UN relations and the events held in Azerbaijan.

500 copies of the book have been published.
